Christian Standard Bible

11 Because God has loosened my[a] bowstring and oppressed me,
they have cast off restraint in my presence.(A)
12 The rabble[b] rise up at my right;
they trap[c] my feet
and construct their siege ramp[d] against me.(B)
13 They tear up my path;
they contribute to my destruction,(C)
without anyone to help them.

    they throw off restraint(C) in my presence.

    they lay snares(E) for my feet,(F)
    they build their siege ramps against me.(G)
13 They break up my road;(H)
    they succeed in destroying me.(I)
    ‘No one can help him,’ they say.
