Finally Daniel, named Belteshazzar(E) after the name of my god—and a spirit of the holy gods is in him(F)—came before me. I told him the dream: “Belteshazzar, head of the magicians, because I know that you have the spirit of the holy gods(G) and that no mystery puzzles you,(H) explain to me the visions of my dream that I saw, and its interpretation.

I said, “Belteshazzar, chief(K) of the magicians, I know that the spirit of the holy gods(L) is in you, and no mystery is too difficult for you. Here is my dream; interpret it for me.
