Job 39:23-25
Holman Christian Standard Bible
23 A quiver rattles at his side,
along with a flashing spear and a lance.[a]
24 He charges ahead[b] with trembling rage;
he cannot stand still at the trumpet’s sound.
25 When the trumpet blasts, he snorts defiantly.[c]
He smells the battle from a distance;
he hears the officers’ shouts and the battle cry.

New International Version
23 The quiver(A) rattles against its side,
along with the flashing spear(B) and lance.
24 In frenzied excitement it eats up the ground;
it cannot stand still when the trumpet sounds.(C)
25 At the blast of the trumpet(D) it snorts, ‘Aha!’
It catches the scent of battle from afar,
the shout of commanders and the battle cry.(E)
