¹¹ Terrors^(A) startle him on every side^(B)
    and dog^(C) his every step.

¹⁷ For all of them, midnight is their morning;
    they make friends with the terrors^(A) of darkness.^(B)

⁴ My heart is in anguish^(A) within me;
    the terrors^(B) of death have fallen on me.

¹⁵ From my youth^(A) I have suffered^(B) and been close to death;
