⁴For the ^(A)arrows of the Almighty are within me,
^[a]My spirit drinks their ^(B)poison;
The ^(C)terrors of God line up against me.

⁴The arrows^(A) of the Almighty^(B) are in me,^(C)
my spirit drinks^(D) in their poison;^(E)
God’s terrors^(F) are marshaled against me.^(G)

²³For ^(A)disaster from God is a terror to me,
And because of ^(B)His majesty I can do nothing.

²³For I dreaded destruction from God,^(A)
and for fear of his splendor^(B) I could not do such things.^(C)
