²⁰ The womb should forget him,
The worm should feed sweetly on him;
^(A)He should be remembered no more,
And wickedness should be broken like a tree.

^16 (A)The face of the Lord is against those who do evil,
^(B)To ^[a]cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

²² But the wicked will be ^[a]cut off from the ^[b]earth,
And the unfaithful will be uprooted from it.

^7 (A)The memory of the righteous is blessed,
But the name of the wicked will rot.
