²⁵ For the thing I feared has overtaken me,
and what I dreaded has happened to me.^(A)

¹⁵ Therefore I am terrified^(A) in His presence;
when I consider this, I am afraid of Him.

²³ For disaster from God terrifies me,
and because of His majesty I could not do these things.^(A)
