14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.(A)
15 The sun and the moon are darkened and the stars withdraw their shining.
16 The Lord will thunder and roar from Zion and utter His voice from Jerusalem, and the heavens and the earth shall shake; but the Lord will be a refuge for His people and a stronghold to the children of Israel.(B)

14 Multitudes,(A) multitudes
in the valley(B) of decision!
For the day of the Lord(C) is near
in the valley of decision.(D)
15 The sun and moon will be darkened,
and the stars no longer shine.(E)
16 The Lord will roar(F) from Zion
and thunder from Jerusalem;(G)
the earth and the heavens will tremble.(H)
But the Lord will be a refuge(I) for his people,
a stronghold(J) for the people of Israel.
