16 The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem, and the heavens and the earth shall shake, but the Lord will be the [a]hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.

17 So shall ye know that I am the Lord your God dwelling in Zion, mine holy Mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers go [b]through her anymore.

18 And in that day shall the mountains [c]drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall run with waters, and a fountain shall come forth of the House of the Lord, and shall water the valley of Shittim.

16 The Lord will roar(A) from Zion
    and thunder from Jerusalem;(B)
    the earth and the heavens will tremble.(C)
But the Lord will be a refuge(D) for his people,
    a stronghold(E) for the people of Israel.

17 “Then you will know(F) that I, the Lord your God,(G)
    dwell in Zion,(H) my holy hill.(I)
Jerusalem will be holy;(J)
    never again will foreigners invade her.(K)

18 “In that day the mountains will drip new wine,(L)
    and the hills will flow with milk;(M)
    all the ravines of Judah will run with water.(N)
A fountain will flow out of the Lord’s house(O)
    and will water the valley of acacias.[a](P)
