13 (A)who were [a]born, not of [b]blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of a man, but of God.
The Word Made Flesh
14 And (B)the Word (C)became flesh, and (D)dwelt among us; and (E)we saw His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of (F)grace and (G)truth. 15 John *(H)testified about Him and called out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘(I)He who is coming after me has proved to be [c]my superior, (J)because He existed before me.’”

13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.(A)
