45 (A)Philip *found (B)Nathanael and *said to him, “We have found Him of whom (C)Moses wrote in the Law, and (D)the prophets also wrote: Jesus (E)the son of Joseph, from (F)Nazareth!” 46 Nathanael said to him, “(G)Can anything good be from Nazareth?” (H)Philip *said to him, “Come and see.” 47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to Him, and *said of him, “Here is truly an (I)Israelite, in whom there is no deceit!” 48 Nathanael *said to Him, “How do You know me?” Jesus answered and said to him, “Before (J)Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.” 49 Nathanael answered Him, “(K)Rabbi, You are (L)the Son of God; You are the (M)King of Israel!” 50 Jesus answered and said to him, “Because I said to you that I saw you under the fig tree, do you believe? You will see greater things than these.” 51 And He *said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see (N)heaven opened and (O)the angels of God ascending and descending on (P)the Son of Man.”

45 Philip found Nathanael(A) and told him, “We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law,(B) and about whom the prophets also wrote(C)—Jesus of Nazareth,(D) the son of Joseph.”(E)
46 “Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?”(F) Nathanael asked.
“Come and see,” said Philip.
47 When Jesus saw Nathanael approaching, he said of him, “Here truly is an Israelite(G) in whom there is no deceit.”(H)
48 “How do you know me?” Nathanael asked.
Jesus answered, “I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you.”
49 Then Nathanael declared, “Rabbi,(I) you are the Son of God;(J) you are the king of Israel.”(K)
50 Jesus said, “You believe[a] because I told you I saw you under the fig tree. You will see greater things than that.” 51 He then added, “Very truly I tell you,[b] you[c] will see ‘heaven open,(L) and the angels of God ascending and descending(M) on’[d] the Son of Man.”(N)
