³⁵ Jesus answered, “The light will be with you only a little longer.^(A) Walk while you have the light^(B) so that darkness doesn’t overtake you.^(C) The one who walks in darkness doesn’t know where he’s going.^{(D) 36} While you have the light,^(E) believe in the light so that you may become sons of light.” Jesus said this, then went away and hid from them.^(F)

⁵ Night will no longer exist,^(A) and people will not need lamplight or sunlight, because the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign forever and ever.
