³⁰ The Father and I are one.”^[a](A)

¹¹ Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me. Otherwise, believe^[a] because of the works themselves.^(A)

²⁰ In that day you will know that I am in My Father,^(A) you are in Me, and I am in you.

Remaining with God

²⁴ What you have heard from the beginning must remain in you. If what you have heard from the beginning remains in you, then you will remain in the Son^(A) and in the Father.^(B)

¹⁷ In this, love is perfected with us so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment,^(A) for we are as He is in this world.^(B)
