John 10:34-36
The Voice
Jesus: 34 You know what is written in the Scriptures. Doesn’t it read, “I said, you are gods”?[a] 35 If the Scriptures called your ancestors (mere mortals) gods to whom the word of God came—and the Scriptures cannot be set aside— 36 what should you call One who is unique, sanctified by and sent from the Father into the world? I have said, “I am God’s Son.” How can you call that blasphemy?
