⁴When Jesus heard that, He said, “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.”

⁴When he heard this, Jesus said, “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory^(A) so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.”

¹¹These things He said, and after that He said to them, “Our friend Lazarus ^(A)sleeps, but I go that I may wake him up.”

¹¹After he had said this, he went on to tell them, “Our friend^(A) Lazarus has fallen asleep;^(B) but I am going there to wake him up.”
