23 The one who hates me hates my Father also. 24 If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would not have sin. But now they have both seen and hated both me and my Father. 25 But this happened[a] so that the word that is written in their law would be fulfilled, ‘They hated me without a reason.’

New International Version
23 Whoever hates me hates my Father as well. 24 If I had not done among them the works no one else did,(A) they would not be guilty of sin.(B) As it is, they have seen, and yet they have hated both me and my Father. 25 But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law:(C) ‘They hated me without reason.’[a](D)
