If a man does not remain in Me, he is thrown out as a branch and withers. And they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you remain in Me, and My words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it shall be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.(A) If you remain in me(B) and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.(C) This is to my Father’s glory,(D) that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.(E)
