11 Now I am coming to you. I will not stay in the world now. But these men are still in the world. Holy Father, keep them safe. Keep them safe by the power of your name (the name you gave me), so that they will be one, the same as you and I are one. 12 While I was with them, I kept them safe. I kept them safe by the power of your name—the name you gave me. I protected them. And only one of them, the one who is going to hell, was lost. He was lost so that what was said in the Scripture would happen.
13 “I am coming to you now. But I pray these things while I am still in the world. I say these things so that these men can have my joy. I want them to have all of my joy.

11 I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world,(A) and I am coming to you.(B) Holy Father, protect them by the power of[a] your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one(C) as we are one.(D) 12 While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by[b] that name you gave me. None has been lost(E) except the one doomed to destruction(F) so that Scripture would be fulfilled.(G)
13 “I am coming to you now,(H) but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy(I) within them.
