Jesus Betrayed and Arrested

18 When Jesus had spoken these words, (A)He went forth with His disciples to the other side of (B)the Kidron Valley, where there was (C)a garden, into which He entered [a]with His disciples. 2 Now Judas also, who was [b]betraying Him, knew the place, for Jesus had (D)often gathered there with His disciples. 3 (E)Judas then, having received (F)the Roman [c]cohort and (G)officers from the chief priests and the Pharisees, *came there with lanterns and (H)torches and weapons.

Jesus Arrested(A)

18 When he had finished praying, Jesus left with his disciples and crossed the Kidron Valley.(B) On the other side there was a garden,(C) and he and his disciples went into it.(D)

2 Now Judas, who betrayed him, knew the place, because Jesus had often met there with his disciples.(E) 3 So Judas came to the garden, guiding(F) a detachment of soldiers and some officials from the chief priests and the Pharisees.(G) They were carrying torches, lanterns and weapons.
