3 And they repeatedly came up to Him(A) and said, “Hail, King of the Jews!” and were slapping His face.
4 Pilate went outside again and said to them, “Look, I’m bringing Him outside to you to let you know I find no grounds(B) for charging Him.”

5 Then Jesus came out wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe.(C) Pilate said to them, “Here is the man!”(D)

4 Once more Pilate came out and said to the Jews gathered there, “Look, I am bringing him out(C) to you to let you know that I find no basis for a charge against him.”(D) 5 When Jesus came out wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe,(E) Pilate said to them, “Here is the man!”
