John 19:33-35
International Children’s Bible
33 But when the soldiers came to Jesus, they saw that he was already dead. So they did not break his legs. 34 But one of the soldiers stuck his spear into Jesus’ side. At once blood and water came out. 35 (The one who saw this happen has told about it. The things he says are true. He knows that he tells the truth. He told about it so that you also can believe.)

33 But when they came to Jesus and found that he was already dead, they did not break his legs. 34 Instead, one of the soldiers pierced(A) Jesus’ side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water.(B) 35 The man who saw it(C) has given testimony, and his testimony is true.(D) He knows that he tells the truth, and he testifies so that you also may believe.
