33 However, when they came to Jesus and saw that he was already dead, they did not break his legs, 34 but one of the soldiers thrust a lance into his side, and immediately a flow of blood and water came forth. 35 An eyewitness has testified to this, and his testimony is true. 33 But when they came to Jesus and found that he was already dead, they did not break his legs. 34 Instead, one of the soldiers pierced(A) Jesus’ side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water.(B) 35 The man who saw it(C) has given testimony, and his testimony is true.(D) He knows that he tells the truth, and he testifies so that you also may believe.
