John 19:33-35

33 But when they came to Jesus, they saw that he was already dead, so they didn’t break his legs. 34 Instead, one of the soldiers thrust a spear into his side, and blood and water came out. 35 (The one who saw it is giving evidence, and his evidence is true. He knows he’s speaking the truth, so that you too may believe.)

33 But when they came to Jesus and found that he was already dead, they did not break his legs. 34 Instead, one of the soldiers pierced(A) Jesus’ side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water.(B) 35 The man who saw it(C) has given testimony, and his testimony is true.(D) He knows that he tells the truth, and he testifies so that you also may believe.
