36 For these things came to pass (A)in order that the Scripture would be fulfilled, “(B)Not a bone of Him shall be [a]broken.” 37 And again another Scripture says, “(C)They shall look on Him whom they pierced.”
Jesus Is Buried
38 (D)Now after these things Joseph of Arimathea, being a disciple of Jesus, but (E)secretly because of his (F)fear of the Jews, asked Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus; and Pilate granted permission. So he came and took away His body.

The Burial of Jesus(D)
38 Later, Joseph of Arimathea asked Pilate for the body of Jesus. Now Joseph was a disciple of Jesus, but secretly because he feared the Jewish leaders.(E) With Pilate’s permission, he came and took the body away.
