39 Nicodemus came too (the man who, at first, had visited Jesus by night). He brought a concoction of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred pounds in weight. 40 They took Jesus’ body, and wrapped it up in cloths with the spices, according to the normal Judaean burial custom.
41 There was a garden in the place where he was crucified. In the garden, there was a new tomb in which nobody had ever been buried.

New International Version
39 He was accompanied by Nicodemus,(A) the man who earlier had visited Jesus at night. Nicodemus brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about seventy-five pounds.[a] 40 Taking Jesus’ body, the two of them wrapped it, with the spices, in strips of linen.(B) This was in accordance with Jewish burial customs.(C) 41 At the place where Jesus was crucified, there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb, in which no one had ever been laid.
