John 19:4-6

4 Pilate went out again and said to the people, “See, I bring Him out to you so you will know I do not find Him guilty.” 5 Jesus came out. He had on the crown of thorns and a purple coat. Pilate said to the people, “See! This is the Man!”
Pilate Tries to Let Jesus Go Free
6 The religious leaders and the soldiers saw Him. They spoke with loud voices, “Nail Him to a cross! Nail Him to a cross!” Pilate said, “Take Him yourselves and nail Him to a cross. As for me, I do not find Him guilty.”

4 Once more Pilate came out and said to the Jews gathered there, “Look, I am bringing him out(A) to you to let you know that I find no basis for a charge against him.”(B) 5 When Jesus came out wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe,(C) Pilate said to them, “Here is the man!”
6 As soon as the chief priests and their officials saw him, they shouted, “Crucify! Crucify!”
But Pilate answered, “You take him and crucify him.(D) As for me, I find no basis for a charge against him.”(E)
