³⁵ The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands.^(A)

⁴⁶ No one has seen the Father except the one who is from God;^(A) only he has seen the Father.

²⁸ Then Jesus, still teaching in the temple courts,^(A) cried out, “Yes, you know me, and you know where I am from.^(B) I am not here on my own authority, but he who sent me is true.^(C) You do not know him,

¹⁵ just as the Father knows me and I know the Father^(A)—and I lay down my life for the sheep.^(B)
