8 Jesus *said to him, “(A)Get up, pick up your pallet and walk.” 9 Immediately the man became well, and picked up his pallet and began to walk.
(B)Now it was a Sabbath on that day. 10 So (C)the Jews were saying to the man who was cured, “It is a Sabbath, and (D)it is not permissible for you to carry your pallet.”

8 Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.”(A) 9 At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked.
The day on which this took place was a Sabbath,(B) 10 and so the Jewish leaders(C) said to the man who had been healed, “It is the Sabbath; the law forbids you to carry your mat.”(D)
