³¹Our ancestors ate the manna^(A) in the wilderness; as it is written: ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’^[a]”^(B)

³¹Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.

³³For the Bread of God is He Who comes down out of heaven and gives life to the world.

³³For the bread of God is the bread that comes down from heaven^(A) and gives life to the world.”
