61 Jesus knew His followers talked against what He had said. He said to them, “Does this trouble you? 62 Then what would you say if you saw the Son of Man going up where He was before? 63 It is the Spirit that gives life. The flesh is of no help. The words I speak to you are spirit and life.

61 Aware that his disciples were grumbling about this, Jesus said to them, “Does this offend you?(A) 62 Then what if you see the Son of Man(B) ascend to where he was before!(C) 63 The Spirit gives life;(D) the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit[a] and life.
