13 Howbeit no man spake [a]openly of him for fear of the Jews.
14 [b]Now when [c]half the feast was done, Jesus went up into the Temple, and taught.
15 And the Jews marveled, saying, How knoweth this man the Scriptures, seeing that he never learned!

13 But no one would say anything publicly about him for fear of the leaders.(A)

14 Not until halfway through the festival did Jesus go up to the temple courts and begin to teach.(B) 15 The Jews(C) there were amazed and asked, “How did this man get such learning(D) without having been taught?”(E)
