¹⁶ Some of the Pharisees said, “This man is not ^(A)from God, ^(B)for he does not keep the Sabbath.” But others said, ^(C)“How can a man who is a sinner do such signs?” And ^(D)there was a division among them.

^19 (A)There was again a division among the Jews because of these words.

¹² And there was much ^(A)muttering about him among the people. ^(B)While some said, “He is a good man”, others said, “No, ^(C)he is leading the people astray.”
