¹⁴ And ^(A)the Word ^(B)became flesh, and ^(C)dwelt among us; and ^(D)we saw His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of ^(E)grace and ^(F)truth.

Abraham’s Justification by Faith

4 What then shall we say that Abraham, ^[a]our forefather ^(A)according to the flesh, has found?

³ For ^(A)I could ^[a]wish that I myself were ^(B)accursed, separated from Christ for the sake of my countrymen, my kinsmen ^(C)according to the flesh,

⁵ whose are ^(A)the fathers, and ^(B)from whom is the ^[a]Christ according to the flesh, ^(C)who is over all, ^(D)God ^(E)blessed ^[b]forever. Amen.

¹⁸ Look at ^[a]the people of ^(A)Israel; are those who ^(B)eat the sacrifices not partners in the altar?
