¹⁶ And I will pray the Father, and ^(A)He will give you another ^[a]Helper, that He may abide with you forever—

^17 (A)the Spirit of truth, ^(B)whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you ^(C)and will be in you.

²⁶ But ^(A)the ^[a]Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will ^(B)send in My name, ^(C)He will teach you all things, and bring to your ^(D)remembrance all things that I said to you.

The Coming Rejection

^26 (A)“But when the ^[a]Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, ^(B)He will testify of Me.

³³ Therefore ^(A)being exalted ^[a]to ^(B)the right hand of God, and ^(C)having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He ^(D)poured out this which you now see and hear.
