¹³ No one has ascended^(A) into heaven^(B) except the One who descended from heaven^(C)—the Son of Man.^[a](D)

The One from Heaven

³¹ The One who comes from above^(A) is above all. The one who is from the earth is earthly and speaks in earthly terms.^[a] The One who comes from heaven is above all.^(B)

³⁶ “My kingdom^(A) is not of this world,” said Jesus. “If My kingdom were of this world,^(B) My servants^[a](C) would fight, so that I wouldn’t be handed over to the Jews. As it is, My kingdom does not have its origin here.”^[b](D)

3 So if you have been raised with the Messiah, seek what is above, where the Messiah is, seated at the right hand of God.^{(A) 2} Set your minds on what is above, not on what is on the earth.^(B)
