¹⁵ so that everyone who believes in Him will^[a] have eternal life.^(A)

³⁶ The one who believes in the Son has eternal life, but the one who refuses to believe in the Son will not see life; instead, the wrath of God remains on him.^(A)

Life and Judgment

²⁴ “I assure you: Anyone who hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life^(A) and will not come under judgment but has passed from death to life.

⁴⁰ For this is the will of My Father:^(A) that everyone who sees the Son^(B) and believes in Him may have eternal life, and I will raise^(C) him up on the last day.”

⁴⁷ “I assure you: Anyone who believes^[a] has eternal life.
