²² For not even the Father judges anyone, but ^(A)He has given all judgment to the Son,

²⁷ and He gave Him authority to ^(A)execute judgment, because He is ^[a]the Son of Man.

³¹ because He has set ^(A)a day on which ^(B)He will judge ^[a](C)the world in righteousness ^[b]through a Man whom He has ^(D)appointed, having furnished proof to all people ^[c]by ^(E)raising Him from the dead.”

4 ^(A)I solemnly exhort you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to ^(B)judge the living and the dead, and by His ^(C)appearing and His kingdom:

⁵ but they will give an account to Him who is ready to judge ^(A)the living and the dead.
