⁴⁶ The officers answered, ^(A)“No one ever spoke like this man!”

⁴⁷ And all who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers.

²² And all spoke well of him and marvelled at ^(A)the gracious words that were coming from his mouth. And they said, ^(B)“Is not this ^(C)Joseph's son?”

^13 (A)Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.
