4 (A)From the wilderness and this Lebanon, even as far as the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and as far as the Great Sea toward the setting of the sun will be your territory. 5 (B)No man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I have been with Moses, I will be with you; (C)I will not fail you or forsake you. 6 (D)Be strong and courageous, for you shall give this people possession of the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.

4 Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon,(A) and from the great river, the Euphrates(B)—all the Hittite(C) country—to the Mediterranean Sea in the west.(D) 5 No one will be able to stand against you(E) all the days of your life. As I was with(F) Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake(G) you. 6 Be strong(H) and courageous,(I) because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors(J) to give them.
