Amplified Bible
22 There were no Anakim left in the land of the children of Israel; only in Gaza, in Gath, and in Ashdod [of Philistia] some remained. 23 So Joshua took the whole land [of Canaan], according to all that the Lord had spoken to Moses, and Joshua gave it as an inheritance to Israel according to their divisions by their tribes. So the land had rest from war.

22 No Anakites were left in Israelite territory; only in Gaza,(A) Gath(B) and Ashdod(C) did any survive.
23 So Joshua took the entire land,(D) just as the Lord had directed Moses, and he gave it as an inheritance(E) to Israel according to their tribal divisions.(F) Then the land had rest(G) from war.(H)
