²³ So Joshua took the whole land, according to all that the Lord had spoken to Moses, and ^(A)Joshua gave it for an inheritance to Israel according to their divisions by their tribes. ^(B)Thus the land had rest from war.

^43 (A)So the Lord gave Israel all the land which He had sworn to give to their fathers, and ^(B)they possessed it and lived in it.
