5 All these kings joined forces; they came and camped together at the Waters of Merom to attack Israel.(A)
6 The Lord said to Joshua, “Do not be afraid of them, for at this time tomorrow I will cause all of them to be killed before Israel.(B) You are to hamstring their horses and burn their chariots.”(C) 7 So Joshua and all his troops surprised them at the Waters of Merom and attacked them.

5 All these kings joined forces(A) and made camp together at the Waters of Merom(B) to fight against Israel.
6 The Lord said to Joshua, “Do not be afraid of them, because by this time tomorrow I will hand(C) all of them, slain, over to Israel. You are to hamstring(D) their horses and burn their chariots.”(E)
7 So Joshua and his whole army came against them suddenly at the Waters of Merom and attacked them,
