11 to the ·hill north [northern slope] of Ekron. Then it turned toward Shikkeron and ·went past [or crossed to] Mount Baalah and continued on to Jabneel, ending at the sea.
12 The ·Mediterranean [Great] Sea was the western border. Inside these borders lived the ·family groups [clans] of Judah.
13 The Lord had commanded Joshua to give Caleb son of Jephunneh ·part of the land [a portion] in Judah, so he gave Caleb the town of Kiriath Arba, ·also called [that is,] Hebron [14:13]. (Arba was the father of Anak.)

11 It went to the northern slope of Ekron,(A) turned toward Shikkeron, passed along to Mount Baalah(B) and reached Jabneel.(C) The boundary ended at the sea.
12 The western boundary is the coastline of the Mediterranean Sea.(D)
These are the boundaries around the people of Judah by their clans.
13 In accordance with the Lord’s command to him, Joshua gave to Caleb(E) son of Jephunneh a portion in Judah—Kiriath Arba(F), that is, Hebron.(G) (Arba was the forefather of Anak.)(H)
