12 And the west border was (A)at the Great Sea, even its [a]coastline. This is the border around the sons of Judah according to their families.
13 Now (B)he gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh a portion (C)among the sons of Judah, according to the [b]command of Yahweh to Joshua, namely, [c]Kiriath-arba, Arba being the father of Anak (that is, Hebron). 14 (D)And Caleb dispossessed from there the three (E)sons of Anak: Sheshai and Ahiman and Talmai, the children of Anak.

12 The western boundary is the coastline of the Mediterranean Sea.(A)
These are the boundaries around the people of Judah by their clans.
13 In accordance with the Lord’s command to him, Joshua gave to Caleb(B) son of Jephunneh a portion in Judah—Kiriath Arba(C), that is, Hebron.(D) (Arba was the forefather of Anak.)(E) 14 From Hebron Caleb drove out the three Anakites(F)—Sheshai, Ahiman and Talmai,(G) the sons of Anak.(H)
