The Voice
19 If anyone goes out of the house and into the streets, then we can’t be responsible for what happens to them. They will be killed, and their blood will be on their hands, not on ours. We will be responsible if anything should happen to anyone you gather in here. 20 But remember—all of this depends on you keeping your word. If you tell anyone our business, you will free us from our oath.
Rahab: 21 Agreed.
The men climbed down and escaped into the night, and she tied the scarlet cord in the window.

19 If any of them go outside your house into the street, their blood will be on their own heads;(A) we will not be responsible. As for those who are in the house with you, their blood will be on our head(B) if a hand is laid on them. 20 But if you tell what we are doing, we will be released from the oath you made us swear.(C)”
21 “Agreed,” she replied. “Let it be as you say.”
So she sent them away, and they departed. And she tied the scarlet cord(D) in the window.(E)
