8 Before the scouts[a] had lain down, she went up to them on the roof 9 “I’m really convinced that the Lord has given you the land,” she said,[b] “because we’re overwhelmed with fear of you. All the other inhabitants of the land are demoralized at your presence, 10 because we heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Reed[c] Sea right in front of you as you were coming out of Egypt, and what you did to the two kings of the Amorites who were on the other[d] side of the Jordan River—to Sihon and Og—whom you completely destroyed.

8 Before the spies lay down for the night, she went up on the roof(A) 9 and said to them, “I know that the Lord has given you this land and that a great fear(B) of you has fallen on us, so that all who live in this country are melting in fear because of you. 10 We have heard how the Lord dried up(C) the water of the Red Sea[a] for you when you came out of Egypt,(D) and what you did to Sihon and Og,(E) the two kings of the Amorites(F) east of the Jordan,(G) whom you completely destroyed.[b](H)

10 For we have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed.
