10 (A)but I would not listen to Balaam. (B)Indeed, he blessed you. So I delivered you out of his hand. 11 (C)And you went over the Jordan and came to Jericho, (D)and the leaders of Jericho fought against you, and also (E)the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Girgashites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites. And I gave them into your hand. 12 And I sent (F)the hornet before you, which drove them out before you, the two kings of the Amorites; it was (G)not by your sword or by your bow.

11 “‘Then you crossed the Jordan(B) and came to Jericho.(C) The citizens of Jericho fought against you, as did also the Amorites, Perizzites,(D) Canaanites, Hittites, Girgashites, Hivites and Jebusites,(E) but I gave them into your hands.(F) 12 I sent the hornet(G) ahead of you, which drove them out(H) before you—also the two Amorite kings. You did not do it with your own sword and bow.(I)
