22 Then Joshua said to the people, “You have spoken for yourselves that you have chosen to serve the Lord.” And they said, “We have spoken for ourselves.” 23 Joshua said, “So put away the strange gods that are among you. Give your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.” 24 The people said to Joshua, “We will serve the Lord our God. We will obey His voice.”

22 Then Joshua said, “You are witnesses(A) against yourselves that you have chosen(B) to serve the Lord.”
“Yes, we are witnesses,(C)” they replied.
23 “Now then,” said Joshua, “throw away the foreign gods(D) that are among you and yield your hearts(E) to the Lord, the God of Israel.”
24 And the people said to Joshua, “We will serve the Lord our God and obey him.”(F)
