24 And the people said to Joshua, “We will worship none but Adonai our God, and we will obey none but His voice.”

25 So Joshua cut a covenant with the people that day, and set for them a statute and an ordinance in Shechem. 26 Then Joshua wrote these words in the scroll of the Torah of God. Also he took a great stone and set it up there under the oak that was by the Sanctuary of Adonai.

25 On that day Joshua made a covenant(B) for the people, and there at Shechem(C) he reaffirmed for them decrees and laws.(D) 26 And Joshua recorded(E) these things in the Book of the Law of God.(F) Then he took a large stone(G) and set it up there under the oak(H) near the holy place of the Lord.
