Joshua 24:3-5
International Standard Version
3 Then I took your ancestor Abraham from the other side of the Euphrates[a] River and led him through the entire land of Canaan. I multiplied his descendants, and gave him his son[b] Isaac. 4 I gave Jacob and Esau to Isaac. And I gave Mount Seir[c] to Esau as his possession, but Jacob and his children went down to Egypt.
5 ‘Later I commissioned Moses and Aaron, and I inflicted plagues on Egypt by what I did among them. Afterwards, I brought all of you[d] out.

3 But I took your father Abraham from the land beyond the Euphrates and led him throughout Canaan(A) and gave him many descendants.(B) I gave him Isaac,(C) 4 and to Isaac I gave Jacob and Esau.(D) I assigned the hill country of Seir(E) to Esau, but Jacob and his family went down to Egypt.(F)
